My client has an immediate need for General Laborers. This is a roofing project, outside, in extreme heat conditions.
The project will consist of tearing off roofing materials, installing metal decking, and laying cold tar. The laborers will be responsible for assisting the experienced advanced roofing technicians. They will be moving materials, discarding tear off materials into a garbage shoot, and assisting with other assigned construction labor tasks.
The hours are typically 7:30am-4:30pm. There is the opportunity to work overtime, including Saturdays (however, weekends are not required).
This is a very hot, labor intensive job, on a flat roof. They will be working along side experienced employees and reporting to a foreman. Employee health and safety is a top priority at Advanced Roofing.
They do not need to climb a latter. This is a huge industrial facility. They have a permanent steel staircase to access the roof, as well as permanent steel catwalks and railings. None of the work will be close to the edges of the roof.
